Sonic

Sonic is a little hedgehog I created out of a cardboard tube and decorated with strips of blue paper. I was given a random color of LED lights to work with and a single battery to power the lights.

Since the lights I was given were that bright blue, It reminded me of the iconic Sega videogame character Sonic the Hedgehog so why not make a little hedgehog to hide the electrical work.

In order to get the chain of lights to work, I had to solder them together with copper wire in between each light. I cut each wire accordingly and placed a heat shrinkable tube or covering over the exposed wire to prevent any current from burning out or catching the carboard on fire once the electricity ran through the lights. Once the chain of lights were finished, I just had to connect the remaining wire to the battery.
