Elixir is a poster I painted using the illusion of figure-ground perception. For example, figure-ground perception can be seen in the “Rubin vase Illusion” that depicts a vase with two visible faces created through the negative space surround it. With my theme centering around magic, I used this illusion to create a potion seller. The two potion or elixir bottles on the left and right outline the seller in the middle or vise versa. The rhymed message was added through Adobe Illustrator.
