The Lost Relic is a collaborative movie poster about a character who jumps through a videogame portal to retrieve a precious family heirloom that was stolen by a mysterious man. This idea and story was centered around my clients diamond earrings that had been passed down for generations in her family. When discussing what she wanted the story for these earrings to be about, she wanted something light hearted, comedic, but still suspenseful. With this in mind, I tried to capture the earrings and videogame element at the forefront of the poster by having the hand pixelate as it reaches for the earrings through the portal.
